10:29 pm: Hello Cyber Space!!
Hello internet. Nice to see ya!

So, I've had this crazy cold for a week now, and seriously, its time for it to go away. I think that all this stress and not sleeping well and eating crappy food has finally caught up with me. Well, I guess it's a good thing I'm going on this cleanse thing next week.

Which brings me to the cleanse: Next week Arielle and I will be going on a pre-AFA (AFA is speech nationals) cleanse. We will be cutting out caffeine, cigarettes (Arielle will; I don't smoke), fast food, processed food, and extra salt and sugar. We will be adding lots of water, fresh fruits and veggies, lean protein, and lots of tea (for a nominal amount of caffeine, because, seriously, I'm not crazy enough to cut it out completely!). Anyone want to join?? It's gonna be awesome. Probably. Hopefully. Well, we'll see how long I maintain sanity on this regimen, haha.

I can't believe speech nationals is only 18 days away! Craaaazzzzyyyyy! I'm going to really have to buckle down and get to work. I'm really excited though. I'm also really excited to be over with nationals so that I can have a life again and see my friends every now and then.

Speaking of friends, I'm really excited about the new apt possibility for next year. I think its going to be awesommmeeee!!!!

Anyway, I'll keep you guys updated on this whole cleanse thing. We'll see how it goes.

11:50 pm: I guess I'll join onto the live journal band-wagon.

So, i qualified all my events for nationals this weekend, which was tres exciting to say the least. I'm super excited to go the nationals, even if we do have to drive all the way to Wisconsin in a greyhound. Oh, and we'll be doing a showcase in a few weeks, so you guys can see what i've been up to all year.

I seriously need a haircut.

12:50 pm: I know that God loves me when a 15 page paper that was due on Monday gets pushed back to Wednesday. :)
Oh, and also when my teacher tells us we're not going to have a review session for the final and the ENTIRE class gasps in unison and as a result we now have a review session on Thursday :)

07:25 pm: I have turned a corner and decided to be school spirited (at least, as much as my anti-herd mentality personality will let me haha). Suit up LSU, it's time to get pumped.

So, it's been a while, so I guess I'll post about ma vie encore.

Hmm...What's been up with me lately?

Well, school's kind of kicking me in ass a little bit. I'm really behind with all my work, but my professors are really awesome and have given me extensions on a lot of my stuff. Oh, and I'm kicking Logic's ass! I aced all my tests so far. It does so much for my self esteem haha. Oh, and I'm all scheduled for next semester. I'm taking Cultural Anthropology, Oceanography, American Lit, Poetry Writing, and Western CIv II. I think it will be an interesting semester. Hopefully not too hard!

I changed my major. Well, actually I added a major: history. I'm pretty sure I'm going to go to graduate school in Museum Studies. I'm actually pretty excited about it. I really want to get an internship at a museum over the summer just to make sure though.

I'm still trying to decide about Study Abroad. If i went next year, I couldn't do speech, which sounds a little silly, but I'm really enjoying it. Uggg... I just don't know what to do!!! Well, I do know I'll go to France if I do go abroad.

Speaking of speech (haha), I'm qualified for nationals! I'm so excited. I think it's going to be super fun. We just need money for the trip! And to raise money, one of the things we did was help clean the stadium this sunday. It SUCKED! Never again! I am so sore and if i ever have to smell stale nacho cheese and popcorn again, I really will puke. Oh, and dipping is a disgusting habit. So gross...

Hmm...I guess that's about it. I can't wait for winter break to see all the friendsies again!!!

09:01 pm: consistency is key and yet it seems unattainable

08:04 pm: So glad it's friday!! And l have the house to myself, so i can relax and hang out. Awesome.

I've finally gotten into a semi-routine with school, which is so nice. It makes the stress level go down bit which is good. I pretty much like all my classes and my teachers. Well, except for my post-modernism english class. Ugh, I get it already, technology is ruining the world, blah blah blah. I'm starting to feel more comfortable with speech. I did really well at the first tournament and got first and second in CA (which is a type of speech). The second tournament didn't go quite as well, but i did get top novice in CA. And me and Arielle, another girl on the team, managed to get fifth place overall as a team, even though there were only 2 of us competing. Work is going well too. I really like everyone I work with and I get free coffee and sandwiches whenever i want, which is a huge plus. On the downside, I usually have to be at work for 8 and I'm pretty sure that I'm developing a caffeine dependency.

I've been in a really good mood the last few days, and I really hope it lasts. It makes everything so much easier. All in all, things are starting to shape up to be a good semester. Let's hope it stays that way!

09:03 pm: I was looking at pics of my brother on facebook and i was like...damn, he's sixteen! when did that happen?
